What we do

We believe that good health promotes positive social and economic outcomes for both individuals and societies.

We strive to challenge the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS, put an end to new HIV transmissions and prevent HIV from impeding equality, respect, and good health.

As part of our current strategy, we’re aiming to stop new HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030, assisting those living with HIV to lead fulfilling lives, fighting the stigma associated with HIV, and providing high-quality services.

To achieve this, we support those who are HIV positive, work to ensure that their voices are heard, offer HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STD) testing services, and assist those who use our services in maintaining good sexual health. We organise a range of community focused health campaigns such as multi-faith & HIV health conferences, health checks, mental health, and other health promotions to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the UK and Africa. In the UK, we work in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and in Africa, we have branches in Ghana.
